Katie Judd - Director/Producer     Katie has worked in the film industry since 1985.  For many years she was a producer in London making television commercials.  She became a freelance production coordinater and began researching programmes for Countrywide Films.  In 2000, Katie started producing and directing Country Ways and Coastal Ways. Today, she is the managing director of the company.

Anthony Howard  -  Director and founder of Countrywide Films.      Anthony has worked in the television industry since 1963 when he began working for Southern Television.  As an irreplaceable and gifted film-maker, he was invited to continue working at the Southampton studios for TVS when they won the southern regional franchise.  In 1988, Anthony and Elisabeth Howard set up Countrywide Films Ltd and began life as an independent film production company.  In January 2003 Anthony and Elisabeth retired from running the company, but neither have been allowed to leave the team totally and both take regular roles in researching, producing and directing, as well as writing the beautiful commentaries for Country Ways and Coastal Ways.

Mark Lewis - Cameraman / Director    Mark has been working as a freelance cameraman since 1990 working on documentaries, tv commercials, drama and pop videos.  He is also a director for Countrywide Films.

Jill Cochrane  -  Presenter
Jill's broadcasting career began in 1976 when she presented award-winning radio programmes for BBC Radio 4.  She has been an accomplished interviewer and presenter on both radio and television, as well as developing a very successful communications training company which takes her all over the world training company executives in the art of effective presentation.  Jill, and her wonderfully golden voice, has been a huge asset for "Country Ways" since the programme began in 1984.

Dr Jim Flegg OBE  -  Presenter             Like Jill, Jim has been a rock and cornerstone of both Country Ways and Coastal Ways since the two series began.  With a distiguished career as a civil servant specialising in horticulture, for which he was awarded the OBE, and a keen ornithologist with several books to his name, what Jim doesn't know about wildlife and nature none of us would dare to ask!

Elisabeth Howard  -  Researcher        Wife of Anthony and co-founder of Countrywide Films, Elisabeth has researched countless wonderful "Country Ways" and "Coastal Ways" programmes over the years, as well as running the company as Programme Manager until January 2003.  Elisabeth has worked on and helped to create many other programmes produced by Countrywide Films, including "Great House Cookery", "Famous Foods of the South", "Cathedral" and "Michael Barry's Undiscovered Cooks".

Peter Wright  -  Editor     Peter left Bournemouth College of Art, having completed a three year photographic course and joined Southern Television as a Trainee Assistant Film Editor in 1964.  When video began to replace film as the preferred broadcasting medium, Peter retrained and, after a spell as Supervising Editor with TVS Television, he became a freelance editor.  During his extensive career, Peter has edited everything from news and current affairs to documentaries and drama.  We are very privileged to have his golden touch to help make our films look as good as we can for the continued pleasure of our viewers.

Keith Edmund - Editor
Keith is a freelance editor who worked at Meridian Television since 1999 where he worked on the full spectrum of television genres before returning to his freelance status and joining the Countrywide Films team in 2004.
